Obverse description Standing female figure of Bavaria in high relief at center, flanked to the left by a decorative cartouche with artistic emblems and to the right by a heraldic shield, all within an ornamental border of laurel and acanthus scrollwork. The engraver's signature appears in the lower exergue. The composition is richly detailed in the Renaissance Revival style.
