Reverse description Reverse of this hammered copper piece displays a three-line Arabic inscription in Naskh script, giving the mint name Muhammadabad and the word 'zarb' (struck/minted), followed by a partial Hijri date reading 'sana 84(0)', indicating issues from AH 840 onward. The inscription is centrally placed within the irregular round flan, with the lettering showing typical Bahmani calligraphic style. The flat field surrounding the legend is plain with no additional ornamental devices or border elements. Surface patination is consistent with extended circulation.
