| Obverse description | Highly stylized and schematized derivative of the Sasanian royal bust, characteristic of the Gadhaiya Paisa tradition, depicting a degraded facing-right bust occupying the right half of the field. To the left, a simplified fire-altar symbol is rendered in low relief. The field is populated with a scattering of pellets arranged in irregular clusters, retaining vestiges of the original Sasanian attendant-figure motif. The entire design is executed in the debased, abstract idiom typical of post-Gurjara-Pratihara imitative coinage, with no legible legend present. |
