| 背面描述 | Highly stylized fire altar depicted in the center of the field, derived from the Sasanian atash-dan motif, rendered in a schematic and increasingly abstract manner typical of later Gadhaiya issues. Flanking attendant figures or altar posts are suggested by geometric linear elements on either side. A crescent or bovine symbol appears above or adjacent to the altar, interpreted by some authorities as a stylized moon or bull device. The entire composition is heavily degenerate relative to its Sasanian prototype, with pellet and line ornamentation filling the field. This reverse design follows the standard Indo-Sasanian fire altar convention as catalogued under Mitchiner NI#421. |
