| Reverse description | Highly stylized representation of a Zoroastrian fire altar, rendered in a severely schematized, almost geometric form consistent with advanced Gadhaiya degeneration of the Sasanian prototype. The altar is depicted as a tiered, horizontally-lined pedestal surmounted by a flame or lamp device, flanked by diagonal ribbon-like elements at the lower sides. A small star or pellet motif appears at the central axis of the altar base. A crescent moon symbol is present in the upper right field. The entire design is framed by a border of raised pellets, with no legible inscription. |
