| Opis rewersu | Anepigraphic reverse displaying a symmetrical ornamental design composed of curving ribbon-like bands terminating in pellets or globular bosses, arranged in a cruciform or pinwheel pattern filling the field. Five or more prominent raised pellets are distributed within the interstices of the curvilinear motif, lending the design a decorative, almost floral character typical of the Bulghar 'Ornamental type' series. The flan is irregular and slightly broader than the die, with the design centered but partially off-flan at the edges. No inscriptions, mint marks, or numerals are present. The surface shows natural silver patination with areas of dark toning consistent with age and burial. |
