Reverse description The reverse presents a composition analogous to the obverse, with concentric circular bands enclosing a central annulet, all bearing Kufic Arabic inscriptions typical of Andalusian Islamic coinage of the Taifa period. The inner legend likely contains the Shahada or a dynastic formula referencing the Zirid ruler Badis b. Habbus, while the outer marginal band carries a complementary religious or mint legend. The flan is irregular and partially fragmentary, consistent with the hammered technique employed for Taifa-era fractional gold issues. The relief of the lettering is bold, with characteristic Kufic strokes visible despite the worn surfaces.
