Reverse description Irregular hammered gold flan displaying multiple horizontal registers of Arabic Kufic script covering the central field within a single linear border, consistent with Taifa-period fractional dinar typology. The legends invoke standard Islamic religious phrases along with references to the reigning amir 'Abd al-'Aziz al-Mansur. The strike exhibits the characteristic irregularity of hand-hammered coinage, with some peripheral weakness and slight flan cracking. The Kufic letterforms are angular and compact, typical of the Valencian mint's output during the mid-eleventh century.
