Reverse description The reverse displays two Chinese characters in regular script (kaishu), one above and one below the central square hole, reading 至正 (Zhizheng), denoting the reign era of the Yuan Emperor Toghon Temür (1341–1368). The characters are boldly struck with clearly defined strokes, and the fields to the left and right of the hole are plain. The overall casting quality is typical of the late Yuan period, with a slightly raised rim and moderately worn surfaces.
