Obverse description Cast bronze cash coin featuring four Chinese characters in regular script (kaishu), arranged in cruciform fashion around a central square hole: read top-to-bottom and right-to-left, the legend reads 穆清銅寶 (Muqing Tongbao). The characters are rendered in a somewhat crude, archaic style typical of Yuan dynasty temple or emergency issues, with the field showing uneven casting texture. The coin's flat rim is narrow and slightly irregular, consistent with hand-cast production methods of the period.
