| Aversbeschreibung | Central square hole (穿) surrounded by four Chinese characters in regular script (楷書, kaishu), reading 至大元寶 (Zhida Yuanbao, meaning 'Precious Currency of the Zhida era') arranged in cruciform fashion — top to bottom and right to left — within a plain inner rim. The characters are rendered in a relatively compact style consistent with the small fractional denomination. The flat field surrounding the inscription is unadorned, bounded by a raised outer rim. The overall casting is typical of Yuan dynasty monetary production, with slightly rough surfaces reflecting the small module of this fractional issue. |

| Reversbeschreibung | Plain, unadorned reverse featuring a central square hole (穿) with a raised inner rim defining its perimeter. The broad, flat field is entirely blank with no inscriptions, symbols, or decorative elements. A raised outer rim encircles the flan. The casting surface shows the natural texture characteristic of Yuan dynasty bronze cash coins, with minor porosity consistent with the casting process employed for small fractional issues. |

The Zhida reign period lasted just four years (1308–1311) under Emperor Wuzong, who died at thirty-one, likely from chronic alcoholism. The "Yuanbao" designation on fractional cash of this period reflects the Yuan court's intermittent attempts to reinforce copper coinage alongside its dominant paper currency system — the dynasty relied overwhelmingly on the jiaochao, and bronze issues were secondary instruments, often produced for ritual or ceremonial distribution rather than active market exchange. Temple coins of this classification were not intended for commerce at all.
