Reverse description A laurel wreath, tied at the base with a ribbon bow, encloses a two-line votive inscription VOT X in the central field, commemorating the decennial vows of the emperor. Beneath the wreath, the mintmark of the Carthage mint appears in the exergue. The composition is spare and epigraphic in character, consistent with the votive fraction coinage of the Diocletianic reform period.
