The scene represents divine legitimation of imperial power, a hallmark of tetrarchic iconography. An officina letter appears in the centre field, and the mintmark is placed in the exergue. The reverse legend CONCORDIA MILITVM, denoting harmony with the armies, is distributed across the field with varying word-breaks depending on the die. |
