| Reverse description | A long cross with arms extending to the inner circle divides the reverse field into four quadrants, each containing a single pellet or annulet in the angle. The cross is bold and well-centered, typical of hammered Savoyard feudal coinage of the early 14th century. A circular legend in uncial Latin script surrounds the design, reading SABAVDIE, denoting the County of Savoy. The beaded inner circle and irregular flan edges are consistent with hammered production of this period. |
