Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Vetranio facing right, rendered in the late Roman imperial style. The emperor is depicted with a laurel wreath crowning his head, with a paludamentum (military cloak) fastened at the shoulder visible beneath the cuirass. The circumferential legend DN VETRANIO PF AVG ('Dominus Noster Vetranio Pius Felix Augustus') runs clockwise around the bust. A pellet is visible in the left field. The portrait exhibits the bold, slightly stylised treatment characteristic of mid-fourth century provincial die-cutting at the Siscia mint.
