| Descrizione del dritto | Right-facing bust of Emperor Theodosius I, pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed, occupying the central field. The effigy is rendered in the late Roman imperial style characteristic of the Theodosian period, with the pearl diadem clearly distinguishing the imperial portrait. The encircling Latin legend reads D N THEODO-SIVS P F AVG, broken across the upper and lower periphery. The flan is small and irregular, and the strike is somewhat worn, consistent with a circulated bronze issue of this denomination. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse depicts the standing figure of Victory advancing left, holding a wreath in her outstretched right hand and a palm branch over her left shoulder, a standard type for the VICTORIA AVGGG coinage of the Theodosian era signifying the victory of the three co-reigning Augusti. The legend VICTORIA AVGGG encircles the field along the upper periphery. A mint mark is present in the exergue, consistent with the Rome mint attribution for RIC IX 57c, though it is largely illegible on this heavily worn specimen. The flan shows the characteristic irregular shape of a late fourth-century hammered bronze issue. |
