(Translation: Imperator Caesar Diocletianus Pius Felix Augustus: The emperor caesar Diocletian, pious and blessed august.)
Reverse description Moneta, the personification of the mint, stands facing left, draped in a long chiton and himation; she holds a pair of scales in her extended right hand and a cornucopiae in her left hand, both attributes emblematic of monetary equity and abundance. A star appears in the upper right field. The reverse legend is arranged along the upper and lower periphery of the coin. The type follows the standardised Tetrarchic follis reverse design issued under Diocletian's monetary reforms.
