| Obverse description | Laureate and bearded head of Constantius I facing right, rendered with finely detailed hair and beard in the Tetrarchic style. The portrait displays strong, naturalistic features characteristic of late 3rd-century Roman imperial portraiture. The laureate wreath is clearly defined, with individual leaves and ties visible. The legend is incuse in Latin capitals arranged around the periphery within a beaded border. The truncation of the neck is bare, with no drapery visible. |
