| Obverse description | Laureate and cuirassed bust of Constantine II as Caesar facing right, portrayed as a youthful prince, with finely rendered drapery visible at the shoulder. The effigy is executed in the Constantinian court style, with a prominent diadem of laurel and detailed hair rendered in tight strands. The circular Latin legend surrounds the bust, running from lower left to upper right along the coin's beaded border. The portrait conveys the idealized, slightly juvenile features appropriate to a Nobilissimus Caesar. The field is plain on both sides of the bust. |
