The surrounding circular legend DN CONSTANTINI MAX AVG reads around the periphery, while the mintmark ●AQP● appears in the exergue, identifying this as a product of the first officina at Aquileia. The composition celebrates Constantine's vicennalia, the twentieth anniversary of his reign. |
