Obverse description Full-length frontal figure of a military ruler in armor, standing en face and holding a sword in the right hand and a shield in the left. The effigy is rendered in a flat, stylized Byzantine manner typical of Crusader coinage. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border.

Reverse description Patriarchal cross — a Latin cross surmounted by a shorter crossbar — with pellets adorning the terminal ends of each arm, set upon a two-stepped base. Single pellets and triple pellets are disposed to either side of the elongated vertical arm, serving as decorative field ornaments. The entire composition is enclosed within a beaded border.
