Reverse description Central field bears the votive inscription VOT X MVLT XX arranged within a laurel wreath, a formula commemorating the emperor's completed vows (vota) for ten years of reign and anticipating twenty more. The wreath, tied at the base, encircles the legend in the late Roman epigraphic tradition. The reverse field and any mint marks are largely obscured by extensive corrosion and wear consistent with prolonged circulation and burial. No exergual mark is legible on this specimen.
