| Obverse description | Right-facing draped and cuirassed bust of Emperor Arcadius, adorned with a rosette diadem composed of beaded rows and a central ornament. The imperial effigy is rendered in the late Roman portrait style, with the diadem streamers visible behind the neck. The cuirass is detailed with decorative elements at the shoulder, and the paludamentum (military cloak) is fastened at the right shoulder. The encircling Latin legend reads D N ARCADI-VS P F AVG, identifying the emperor as Dominus Noster Arcadius Pius Felix Augustus. |
