Obverse description The enthroned Madonna, wearing an open crown, is depicted seated on a crescent lunette, holding the Christ Child on her right arm. A rosette appears on each side of the central figure, and the Jagiellonian Polish eagle is displayed in the lower field beneath the crescent. The design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with the royal legend running in the outer margin.
