(Translation: Ulászló, King of Hungary)
Reverse description Full-length frontal effigy of Saint László (Ladislaus), patron saint of Hungary, standing and facing the viewer, depicted in royal attire with a crown. He holds a halberd or battle-axe in his left hand and an orb or sceptre in his right hand, with the mintmark divided on either side of the figure at mid-field. The saint's figure is rendered in the late Gothic tradition, set within a beaded inner circle, with the circumferential legend distributed around the outer border.
