Reverse description Central field occupied by a floriated cross with fleur-de-lis terminals, at the center of which is placed a small shield bearing the rampant lion of Luxembourg topped by a crown with a fleur-de-lis finial. The four quadrants formed by the cross are each filled with crowned Burgundian fire-steels (flints) and trefoil ornaments in a decorative Gothic arrangement. A raised beaded inner border surrounds the design, and the peripheral legend in Gothic uncial letters reads MOnETA nOVA LVXEMBVRGIS AnO 150Z, recording the mint name and year of issue.
