| Reverse description | A crowned double-headed imperial eagle displayed in the field within a plain inner circle, its wings spread and heads facing outward in the traditional Holy Roman Empire style. The imperial crown surmounts the eagle at the top, flanking a two-digit date numeral split on either side. The surrounding circular legend cites the imperial titles of Matthias I, Holy Roman Emperor, in abbreviated Latin. The design reflects the anachronistic use of Matthias I's name by the city of Kampen well after his reign, a known practice on late Dutch municipal florins. |
