| Reverse description | Central field depicts the tilted Bourbon heraldic shield bearing fleurs-de-lis and a diagonal bend, surmounted by a plumed helm with mantling, and flanked on either side by a rampant lion acting as supporter. The shield and supporters are rendered in a late Gothic heraldic style characteristic of the mid-fifteenth century Low Countries. The design is contained within a beaded inner circle, with the circumferential legend in Gothic uncial lettering occupying the outer margin. |
