| Descrizione del rovescio | Central field occupied by a large heraldic shield of arms surmounted by an open crown, displaying a complex quartered composition incorporating the arms of the Palatinate (barry of six, bendy counterchanged with a lion), Bavaria (lozengy), Luxembourg (a lion), and additional dynastic quarters. Four smaller escutcheons are arranged around the central shield in a cruciform pattern, each bearing subsidiary armorial devices. The surrounding legend in Gothic uncial script is separated from the central device by a toothed inner border and an outer beaded rim, consistent with the hammered florin tradition of the early fifteenth century. |
