Obverse description Full-length frontal effigy of St. John the Baptist standing, robed in a long garment with visible drapery folds, his right hand raised in blessing and his left hand holding a staff or cross. The figure is rendered in a Gothic style typical of 14th-century Bohemian coinage, closely imitating the Florentine florin prototype. A circular legend in uncial Latin characters surrounds the saintly figure within the coin's field.
