Obverse description Full-length frontal figure of Saint John the Baptist, nimbed and draped in robes, standing on a ground line, holding a long patriarchal cross in his left hand and a lamb or attribute in his right. The figure is rendered in the Gothic style typical of medieval Aragonese florins. A circular Latin legend surrounds the central device, separated from the field by a beaded inner border.
