Beschrijving voorzijde Three half-length portraits in high relief arranged in a triangular composition: Emperor Wilhelm II at upper left and Emperor Franz Joseph at upper right, flanking the central and larger effigy of King Wilhelm II of Württemberg, with the Stuttgart coat of arms displayed below between decorative fruit and flower branches. The Württemberg coat of arms appears at the top of the field between laurel and oak branches, and smaller heraldic shields are placed between the upper two portraits. The circular legend frames the composition above and below.

Beschrijving keerzijde A bearded Germanic bard, wreathed and wearing flowing robes, is depicted in dramatic relief playing a large lyre or harp while seated before an oak tree from which a sword and other Germanic weapons are suspended. The multi-line verse inscription occupies the upper right portion of the field, with the engraver's signature visible at lower right.
