Reverse description Central device features the quartered shield of the canton of Neuchâtel, divided diagonally with a small Swiss cross in the upper right quarter. Behind the shield, two rifles are crossed. A laurel branch extends to the left and an oak branch to the right. A feathered hat surmounts a fasces above the shield. The rim is dentilated.
