| Obverse description | At center, a large crowned imperial monogram 'N' set against a striated ground, surmounted by an imperial crown supporting a cruciferous orb and adorned with two pendant ribbons. The entire device is enclosed within a broad scrolled cartouche, the interior of which is decorated in intaglio with an open wreath composed of two crossed laurel branches joined at their base. A five-pointed star appears in intaglio at the apex of the cartouche. |
