| Obverse description | Central gold-toned inner disc bearing a highly detailed effigy of the Russian Imperial double-headed eagle, displayed with spread wings, each head crowned, and bearing a shield on its breast depicting Saint George slaying the dragon. The eagle holds a sceptre in its right talon and an orb in its left. The surrounding silver-toned outer ring carries a Cyrillic legend divided across the upper and lower periphery of the field. |
