| Opis rewersu | The entire egg-shaped field is covered with an intricate all-over acanthus scroll and foliate arabesque design in high relief against a finely textured matte ground, evoking the decorative vocabulary of ornamental Easter eggs. Sinuous stems terminate in spiralling volutes and stylised leaf motifs, filling the field to the rim without any legend or inscription. The interplay between the polished raised scrollwork and the frosted background creates a pronounced contrasting decorative effect across the full surface. |
