| 裏面の説明 | A large Tudor crown, rendered in fine detail with fleurs-de-lis and crosses pattee along the arched band and a jewelled circlet below, occupies the central field. The date 1936 in Arabic numerals is placed to either side of the crown's arch. The central device is encircled by an elaborate wreath composed of the floral emblems of the United Kingdom — the English rose, Scottish thistle, Irish shamrock, and Welsh leek — tied with ribbons at the base. A circular Latin legend is distributed around the wreath, punctuated by lozenges, with the word TRIAL prominently included to denote the piece's trial-piece status. A fine dentilated border frames the entire design. |
