| Reverse description | A large St. Edward's Crown, richly detailed with fleurs-de-lis, crosses pattée, jewelled band, and orb surmount, occupies the central field. The crown is encircled by a decorative wreath composed of Tudor roses, Scottish thistles, and shamrocks tied with ribbons at the base. The abbreviated legend IND · IMP · FID · DEF is distributed around the upper arc of the wreath, separated by dot stops, with the date 1937 appearing at the base of the design within the lower arc of the wreath. |
