Obverse description Stylized humped bull (Nandi) seated facing right upon a raised platform, rendered in the debased artistic convention characteristic of late Eastern Ganga coinage. A circle flanked by two dots appears in the field before the bull; above are a solar disc and two crescent moons; a goad (ankusha) is depicted behind the bull; a single dot appears below the platform.

Reverse description Central field bears a highly stylized rendering of the auspicious legend 'Sri Rama' in Odia script, followed by the syllable 'sa' as an abbreviation for samvat (regnal year). The inscription is flanked on either side by a goad (ankusha) and a battle axe (parashu). The Anka regnal date 15, corresponding to the fifteenth year of Bhanudeva IV's reign, appears below the central inscription.
