Reverse description The reverse displays a bold Persian nastaliq inscription arranged in two registers divided by a horizontal ruled line across the field. The upper register bears the mint name Peshawar (پشاور) accompanied by the term 'zarb' (ضرب, meaning 'struck at'), while the lower register records the regnal year 1265 AH and the denomination 'falus' (فلس). Decorative rosette or pellet ornaments are interspersed between the legend elements, a stylistic feature common to Sikh copper coinage of the Peshawar mint. The script is characteristically bold and deeply struck, consistent with the hammered technique employed at this mint.
