Reverse description Reverse of this hammered copper falus displaying a multi-line Arabic inscription spread across the field in a style consistent with late medieval Gujarati mint production. The legend, arranged in horizontal registers across the slightly convex flan, carries additional elements of the royal or religious formula complementing the obverse. Strike quality is uneven, with portions of the inscription weakly impressed due to the irregular planchet and hand-hammering technique. The field is otherwise plain, without border ornamentation, and the surface retains traces of green cuprite patina alongside the natural brown oxidation of the copper.
