| Obverse description | Irregular hammered copper flan displaying a partially legible Arabic inscription in the field. The legend, reading 'darb Murtada Nagar' (struck at Murtadanagar), is rendered in a cursive Naskh-influenced hand typical of Ahmadnagar Sultanate copper coinage. The surfaces exhibit significant die wear and uneven striking, characteristic of low-denomination provincial issues of the period. Patination is a mottled reddish-brown with areas of green cuprite corrosion. |
