The legends are weakly and unevenly struck, as is typical of provincial Moroccan falus coinage of this period, with portions of the inscription partially off-flan or flat due to the hammered technique. The overall design is characteristic of the second standard falus type struck under Sultan Moulay Abd al-Rahman at the Rabat mint. |
