Obverse description Central field dominated by a bold six-pointed star (Seal of Solomon), formed by two interlocking equilateral triangles in raised relief, enclosing a central hexagonal area with a prominent central pellet or boss. The six triangular points of the star extend toward the coin's border, with small pellets or ornamental devices filling the interstices between the star points and the rim. The design is characteristic of Moroccan Alaoui dynasty hammered coinage, rendered in a bold and slightly irregular cast style.
