| Reverse description | Irregular rectangular flan with a raised border enclosing the central field. The Arabic legend denotes the mint name 'Ujjain' (اوجین) accompanied by the numeral '2', identifying the issuing authority and denomination marker in accordance with Mughal provincial copper coinage conventions. The script is boldly incised in a fluid calligraphic hand, with the hammered technique producing characteristic surface irregularities. Green and brown patination covers much of the reverse field. |
