| Reverse description | The reverse bears a multi-line Persian inscription in Nasta'liq script, boldly struck across the flan and occupying the majority of the field. The legend is arranged in two or three lines, typical of Safavid copper falus coinage, likely containing the mint name Isfahan and possibly a date or pious invocation. The script is vigorously engraved in the hammered tradition, with characteristically fluid calligraphic strokes. The flan edges are irregular, consistent with hand-cut copper planchets of the period. No border or additional decorative elements are present. |
