They bore the same designs as the normal strikes, but were much more carefully struck on much broader and usually heavier planchets. They are commonly found holed, as they were intended for decorative purposes.” Album # 3237 is designated as Scarce (`S`). Album # 3237 A is designated as Rare (`R`). |
