Central field bearing a multi-line Arabic legend in raised relief, produced by hammered dies on an irregular flan. The inscription, characteristic of anonymous civic copper coinage of the Safavid period, occupies the majority of the field and is enclosed within a partial linear border. The strike is somewhat off-center, resulting in partial legend loss at the periphery, consistent with typical hammered falus production of the region. The surface displays an even dark patina with areas of natural copper oxidation, attesting to genuine age and circulation wear. |

The reverse presents a essentially blank, deeply darkened field with only faint traces of a possible secondary impression or countermark near the centre, consistent with the hammered technique applied to a roughly prepared copper flan. The surface texture is granular and uneven, bearing the characteristic marks of hand-hammered production. No legible legend or device is discernible, suggesting either a plain reverse die or severe wear and corrosion having effaced any original design. The irregular flan edge is clearly visible around the circumference. |
