| Reverse description | Central field bearing a multi-line Arabic inscription in Maghrebi script recording the Hijri date of issue, distributed across the flan in a compact arrangement. The legends are struck on a rough, irregular bronze flan with the uneven surfaces and weak areas characteristic of hammered Moroccan falus coinage of the Alaoui period. No decorative border or figurative element frames the inscription. The strike is bold in places though somewhat flat at the periphery due to the irregular planchet. |
