Reverse description The reverse bears an Arabic inscription in the central field identifying the mint name Ganja and the Hijri date 1045, corresponding to 1635-1636 CE. The script is rendered in a cursive Arabic hand typical of Safavid provincial copper issues, disposed across the field of the irregularly shaped flan. The legends are somewhat crudely struck, consistent with the hammered technique and provincial character of this emission. No additional decorative elements are visible in the field.
